The purpose of the Delray Beach Orchid Society is to stimulate interest, provide education and enable exchange of information among those interested in the culture of orchids in all it's aspects.    

     The Delray Beach Orchid Society has been active in our community since 1974.  We're a not-for-profit, American Orchid Society affiliate dedicated to promoting the hobby of orchid growing.   We have a friendly, diverse membership who enjoys helping new orchid hobbyists grow and care for their plants.  

     Monthly meetings are hosted by the society with guest speakers who are local, national and international authorities on orchid culture and conservation.  There are refreshments and members bring their blooming plants for display.  We also have several raffles so members and guests can add to their orchid collection.

     Meetings start at 7:30 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of each month (except December) Meeting are held at the Adult Recreation Center in Veteran’s Park, 802 Northeast First Street, Delray Beach, Florida.   Directions
